McChuill(s) Mosa Funkers

McChuills on the brain

Just a quick note to thank everyone that came down for the gig at McChuills on Friday. Firstly, yet again we've got to give a big shout to the Shoogaman for doing us a turn with his rousin' acoustic set - he cunningly endeared the regular crowd at the bar with his faux-irish accent - certainly hit the spot! It was great to see some of the faithful back in action (shout out to Big Gordon & Gemma!) plus we made a few new friends: a quick mention for Paul Lambert and his Fiancee who were funkin' it big-style up the front - thanks again guys, we really appreciate it.

Also shouts out to certain (in)famous members of the forum (you know who you are... Inky Binky & Leeloo) who made Diva-like appearances at the end of the night - thanks again guys (just turn up on time whydoncha hehehe).

Looking into my crystal ball...

The gig at Bargo next sunday has been cancelled however if you were to check the gigs section you will find a whole bunch of new dates for the next two months - notably two support slots at the FunK! Room. Keep your diaries clear...

Holidays in the Rain and Mosa Funk Club Passes

In other news, the band are away to Dumfries this week for a session in the sticks. We will be back in town on saturday so we won't be able to reply to any emails for the next week. If you have sent or intend to send something in the meantime, please be patient - it will get a response in due course.

Which leads us neatly to the issue of the Mosa Funk Club VIP Club Member (tm) passes. Thanks to everyone who has responded so far - its been really positive and we are dead chuffed. Again if we haven't responded immediately, don't worry, we have received them and will get back to you. We need to manufacture them and deal with getting everyone to sign theirs - Watch this space...
