Mosa meets Ida...
We had the privilege of meeting new punk sensation ida Maria on Fri
night(13th).Ida who hails from Norway(yea we will beat you in the world cup)
stormed the stage will a pulsating high energy set. With the realease of her
new album"Fortress round my heart" she will be touring all over the country
,and her web sites below are defo worth checking out. We think she will be
huge! ge! ge! ....go Ida go.

The lovely Ida Maria and band just before their sell-out gig at the Garage in Glasgow

Someone had better tell this scarey guy that this female is not stealing this poster of Ida Maria... but that it is the gorgeous songstress herself!
Meanwhile ...
We were invited to attend a rehearsal of The Urban Acid Frenzy.
Must admit ,was totally blown away with the cover i heard them doing of "The White Strips"
and i think Paul Clarks vox leads the band in a stronger
direction, solidifing the tightness of "Craig" on the drums and the power of
"Preston" on guit.It just seemed to click into place.
I know its extremely hard to play bass and sing at the same time, but
all the greats have had to sweat to acheive and with hard hard practice (of
which incidently most cannot deliver),becomes second nature. That is what
seprerates the men from the boys (as any successful act will confirm) and i
would urge the band to consider this way forward as i am convinced we
wittnessed somfink extremely special.
Ps - the cutipie "Angel" could be the new David Bailey,as she was a wizard with that camera.
