New Year's Resolution:
(Update the website!)
2006: welcome to what should be the beginnings
of a funktastic year! Starting as we mean to go on, lets have a
quick look back at the last few gigs:
The weekend of the 9th of December kicked off
with an intimate Christmas doo, courtesy of Impact
Arts (check out their site art lovers!). Many thanks to Mairi
& Nicola for having us there and big Dave who supplied the sound
- check out the pics below:

Dave The Soundman tries to sniff
his bottle (he later required surgery to remove it!)

Junior Mosa gets all tribal on
us.
The next night, Team Mosa headed back into town
to visit one of our fave venues in the city - The Carnival Arts
Centre - for their timely Chrimbo bash and a Birthday Party for
the twins (thanks guys!). Marlyn was on hand to sing a special birthday
tune and Cami freaked us all out (in a warm, squiggy way) - check
out the pics below for further evidence p.s. due to a lack of concentration,
DC was unable to take any pictures of the pole dancer who
gave us quite a show prior to our show - believe me he's been crying
into his Red Bull ever since - poor lamb! bless.

Cami reveals his inner demon -
naughty boy (note the Chest Wig makes an appearance)

One of the Birthday twins fires
into the Cake (Oi! How come we didn't get a slice!)

Behold - a pair of all round good
egg (p.s. loved the sweets Rab!) - good to see you two gettin' righteous!

"Marlyn" & Crazylegs
do the guys'n'dolls thang
Back on tour, we hit Studio 24 in the heart
of Edinburgh on the Sunday night, joined by the ever-genial presence
of Mr Kenny Breaks. For anyone thats not aware, its a top venue
and we personally endorse it for putting on a good show, with great
sound and fab lighting. Thanks again to Kenny & Maco for having
us, Matt on sound, Duncan on the lights and the band of Merry Funksters
who braved the foul weather to join the Mosa Jamboree:

a lift home - Glasgow any good to you?
Meanwhile, the following weekend...
After our triumphant support slot for Goldie
Lookin' Chain in August, Team Mosa made a welcome return to the
grand confides of The GUU for their annual Daft
Friday Ball - supporting the Ms. Dynamite
(pre-punch up) and MOR press favourites Kubb. Thanks
again Sam for making it happen.
On the same night, we hit the final FunK!
Room, in support of Crazy P. Again, camera
failure prevents us from giving you pics, suffice to say, one of
the gigs of the year by far - Arches we love you (thanks Joe).

Season's Greetings (a.k.a. Merry Funktmas)
Hi guys,
just a quick message from me, your good ol' webmaster, wishing to
extend a hearty Merry Crimble & Happy Hog-man-yay! to all you
good Mosa Peeps.
Its been a great year for us, particularly the
few months with lots of exciting gigs and events throughout Scotland.
We've met loads of good, funk lovin' people and got ourselves a
bunch of new mates.
Hope to see you all around in the next year -
From all at the Club let us wish you love, peace
and most of all:
remember to stay +ve.

We want (Oran) Mor(e)!
Westward Ho (see saw like)
December the 1st - 24 fun-filled days of ringing
cash registers, empty wallets and drunken revellry till Christmas
Day (phew!) - what better way to start the month than a boogie down
in the intimate lower hall of Oran Mor? Not so
much a Pie, Pint and a Play as a Fiesta, Fandango and a good Funk
this time though! Props to the two bands who played with us: Washington
Street and Bo Deadly. Washington Street
played a mean funky set including a cracking version of "I
Feel Good" - Bo Deadly brought a bit of raw rock'n'roll power
to the night. Catch these two outfits while you can.
Return to Lush
Friday - the weekend started in Causieside Street,
with a night that included a spot of impromptu table dancing, as
the photos show below. Thanks to all the staff at Lush - Rab, the
lovely Cheryl, Claire and Gary the DJ + everyone else in that night
who made it happen:
