Capital Punishment?
Nipple Juice & Gin: Phressch! Just the way
you like it...
Sunday, sunday sunday....*sigh* eh? Not normally
a day associated with high energy dancing and gyrating hot bodies.
However, for those not watching Songs
of Praise or hitting the Ovaltine late of the eve
on the East Coast of the country last weekend, there was a night
of happening sounds down at the cozy confides of the cities premier
underground club The
Cabaret Voltaire courtesy of your favourite good time funksters.
For the occasion we'd laid on a funky bus for
our merry band of dedicated away support to help us vibe up the
Edinburgians.. The sharabang stumbled onto Blair Street mid-afternoon
and promptly hit the very comfortable City Cafe for good food and
head-boppin' beats (gorgeous Goloulash to boot!) before scaring
the ghosts on the haunted city tour.
Not before long they were in the venue, sampling
the delights of the most righteous Disciples of Panic Earth
of whom were were muchly impressed - check these guys out when they
hit Glasgow very soon for a headful of funky beats and juiced up
rhymes (purrrrr!). Due to a scheduling error Miagi
were unable to play that night, leaving the crowd baying for a bit
of Mosa action, which was duly delivered in good dose - check out
some pics below and the Gallery for
more evidence. Thanks to Julien for the vid (watch this space...)

Cami has clearly spent time cultivating
a fine chest lawn (...does this qualify him has an "uphill
Gardener"?)

Its not often you find this pair

A Rabble: Cabaret Voltaire Edinburgh,

Remember, the next gig in Glasgow
is Favela on Friday 24th of February
so keep your diaries free peeps!
Until next time.

It Reeks on the Mile
Buskin' in the Capital
This Sunday saw us hit Edinburgh for an impromptu
unplugged event in... the middle of the Royal Mile to promote the
Cabaret Voltaire Gig on the 29th! Chapped
lips and frozen pins aside, we tried to bring a bit of summer cheer
to shake the winter blues away from the locals (and not a few dazed
tourists!). Whole heaps 'o'fun were to be had - holding an instrument
in your hand gives you the perfect excuse to act like a
nutcase in the middle of the street - and we caused a stir during
rush hour traffic. Mairead turned heads with her hi-fi singing (and
the megafone!):

Arches Afterthought
Props have to go to a Mr.
Duncan Neish for sending us a bunch of pictures he took
of the band at the last Arches concert on the 19th. Since we didn't
have any pictures from that great night, its frankly Feckin'
Marv-u-lus that we have these in the archives. We approve heartily
and if any Mosa Funkers out there meet this fine gent out in the
street one day, mind congratulate him heartily for his efforts and
say "My Duncan, you truly are a Good Egg.." ! Hurrah!
